Citation Packbibliography desk

Bibliography template

A bibliography template is a reusable structure: consistent fields, one style at a time, alphabetical order, and a clean printout. Use Citation Pack as a fillable desk rather than a blank Word table.

Limits to remember

This is not Zotero, EndNote, or a full CSL engine. Unusual sources still need your style manual. The template is for coursework clarity, not publisher-ready metadata.

Open the free split-pane builder to format entries, switch styles, sort A–Z, and export JSON.

FAQ

Is a bibliography the same as Works Cited or References?

Often yes in casual speech. MLA prefers Works Cited; APA and many Harvard guides prefer References. Pick the heading your instructor requires.

Can I keep one bibliography and switch styles?

You can toggle styles in the builder to reformat the same works, but always proofread. Style switches change punctuation and italics rules.

How do I save a bibliography template draft?

Drafts stay in localStorage. Use Export JSON for a portable backup, or Print / Save PDF for a static copy.
